Selling your home can be daunting, but that’s why we’re here – to take the uncertainty out of the equation. Check out our FAQs and contact our property sales team if you need more help.
- What is the best method for selling my home?
There are a myriad of sales methods. We’ll discuss them all with you and, together, we’ll choose the best option for you and your property, given the prevailing market conditions. - What can I do to make my home more appealing to buyers?
Price. Position. Presentation. The three P’s are really important. Check out our property sales tips or contact us for a no-obligation appraisal so we can make some recommendations. - How much will it cost to sell my home?
Everything is negotiable, but as with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Instead of focusing on the cost, weigh up the value for money an agent provides. An agent with a solid marketing plan, a clear sales strategy and proven experience is worth their weight in gold. If an agent who costs marginally more can secure a markedly higher sale price for you, it’s a worthwhile investment. - How long does it usually take to sell a property in my area?
When you book an appraisal with us, we’ll explain which homes have sold in your area recently and which ones haven’t. You’ll see why some homes take longer than others. Take all our advice, and you’ll put yourself in a great position to achieve a swift outcome. - Is now the right time to sell or should I hang on a bit longer?
It really depends on why you want to sell. Contact our property sales team and we can help you weigh up the relative merits of selling in the current market or waiting for a while. - If my home doesn’t sell, what do I have to pay?
We have a ‘no sale, no fee’ policy, so in the unlikely event we’re unable to sell your home, you’re only responsible for the marketing costs, which you pay upfront. - If I’m not happy with your service, what can I do?
We’re confident you’ll be happy with our service, but if you have a bona fide complaint and wish to terminate our agreement, you can do so immediately and without penalty. It’s all part of our service guarantee. - Do I have to have home opens?
Home opens can be very useful, but they are optional. If you’re not keen on the idea of home opens, we’ll develop a strategy to minimise them for you. - If I’m selling my investment property, can I do it with a tenant in place?
Yes, you can, but it can be detrimental. For instance, your tenant’s furniture may not be particularly attractive or suited to the home. Or your tenant may delay or prevent prospective buyers from viewing your property. Contents insurance can also be compromised in this situation, so we generally recommend waiting for your tenant to vacate your investment property before putting it on the market.
